Never before have we had a New Year’s Eve celebration like the one you’re about to experience: a no-tickets-needed family-friendly party! Starting at 3pm on 31 December, the V&A Waterfront will be hosting Cape Town’s most vibrant line-up of live music, culminating in a midnight fireworks spectacle to see in the year 2024. Tarryn Lamb, Just Jinjer, Sun-EL Musician, The Black Ties, Mandisi Dyantyis, The Rivertones, Seth Grey and The Ploemies will all be performing on a massive custom-designed stage alongside the ocean’s sparkling waters on Jetty 1. There’s no better way to safely celebrate the new year in the Mother City.
